When shown to Hatton he confirmed that none of them were admittedly his signatures. As fake sales have increased so genuine businesses have had to close down because they are constantly being undercut in prices.
With so many fakes on the store how do genuine buyers know that their purchases are real? Well the most common way is to make sure every item comes with a certificate of authenticity, although this is no warrant in itself. So only buy from a reputable dealer.
Sports memorabilia buyers can have fun and can run a business but care is needed by both sets otherwise it could prove to be a dying hobby and business.
